Greeting from the Girls' Friendly Society,

Diocese of Connecticut in the United States of America

 

In less than six months we will all be meeting at the World Council of G.F.S. in Villanova, PA, U.S.A.  We are looking forward to this time of work, workship and fellowship.

 

We, in the Diocese of CT, are hosting International Day during World Council.  In order to make this an enjoyable day that will involve all those attending, we are requesting assistance from all countries represented.

 

We would like each country to share a song, game, play, story, craft, or music that would represent your country at the International Day.  We know that long travel and tight budgets are limiting, therefore we will be happy to provide assistance.  When sent in advance, directions will be reproduced and materials for crafts and games will be purchased and provided by us when we know what is needed.

 

We also request that each country bring banners, pictures, and information about G.F.S. in your country.  These items will be displayed at your table that day creating a most festive atmosphere.

 

Please send or e-mail your directions, songs, craft/game needs to us by June 1, 2005.
